Isaiah Cheng (b. 1996) is an independent artist & curator based in Singapore. He is an interdisciplinary artist working across performance, photography and moving image.
In his practice, Cheng primarily concerns himself with what lies in the underbelly of society and the things that we don’t see or choose not to see. His work is often characterised by problematising the established conventions of the familiar and the everyday, presenting them for heightened and alternate contemplation.
He is also the Art Director of VOID, an arts platform that specialises in photography, time-based media installation & performance,
established around the keen interest of developing new methods of the exhibition experience, facilitating discursive discourse within photography and discovering emerging talents on the fringe. (ig. @v.oidco)
